Owings Mills, Maryland and in their Anthologies,
as well as in her own two books of Poetry: "
THE SEARCH" and "THE GIFT".
NATALIE
REED is a widely traveled Artist, who paints
whatever captivates her wherever she is. She has
painted in Monet's garden at Giverny, France
numerous times. These paintings are listed in her
"Enchanting Places" series, where you

Italy, where a poem of hers, written there
appears in "The Book of Famous People"
at the CAFÉ DELFINO on the delightful Harbour.
While she was in Africa completing her murals for The Mt. Kenya Safari Club, she took her second Safari, gaining photos she took for paintings she has done of animals in the wild. These appear in her animal series of paintings, where you will also find charming pets.
Natalie was commissioned by The Monterey Beach Hotel in California to do a large mural of PESCADERO POINT, CALIFORNIA after she had completed a series of Sea Paintings of Carmel, Asilomar, Point Lobos, Pebble Beach, and Big Sur. Natalie has painted many gardens including her own and those in the South, as well as scenes of the Romantic Cities , including Paris with its fascinating cafes, street performers, and interesting personalities. She lived on the Left Bank while working on some of her educational films on Art, architecture, and History. She continued these films in Italy, Greece, Egypt, Spain, and England. Natalie painted a 790 foot long "Dream Garden" for the HOLIDAY INN at Concord, which included 37 varieties of flowers, exotic butterflies, a Victorian loveseat, and fence, a primrose and a humming bird that brought many more humming birds to visit.
You will also find , beyond her original works of art in the galleries: Enchanting Places, Seascapes, Monet's Garden, The Romantic South, Flowers and Animals (including wild animals, pets and horses), personal statements in original paintings hand-painted in oil paints, bronze sculptures, original paintings hand painted in acrylic paints (which will accept sunny areas in your home), her books of poetry, "THE SEARCH " and "THE GIFT ", and she is now writing her autobiography, which begins at the time she won a special prize for her writing from VOGUE'S PRIX DE PARIS, while she was at the University of Miami. MS. REED wrote a presentation about the race track at Hialeah, where she had been taken by a beau many times to watch the race horses train.
The year before she won the special prize with CONDÉ NAST PUBLICATIONS, she had won a guest editorship with MADEMOISELLE MAGAZINE for her writing.
THE CALIFORNIA ART REVIEW included both her sculpture and painting in their book of outstanding artists, where they said her Art work was noted for "its arresting aliveness". Natalie feels that her experiences of being in touch with the works of the World's Greatest Artists, while she was a scholarship student at THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO were incredibly important. "I studied how they worked, their brushstrokes, their colors, their textures, and their hearts. That is when I decided I must become an Artist too. Natalie studies not only the Art of the countries she visits but the Philosophies, Music, and Dance including that of Bali, Java, Japan, Cambodia, and Greece. NATALIE has written a movie script which includes some of her "amazing experiences as an Artist."
